Dear Reverend Paris in the Crucible,
The way you accuse men and woman in this day and age is inhumane and barbaric
and should be stopped. you justify this by claiming its gods work and unholy as if you
yourself have never sinned. John Procter said, " I speak my own sins: i cannot judge
another(Miller, 1285)".This way of life is hypercritical and wrong.
John was incriminated for speaking his truth however lying is a sin. It is
unfathomable to me how he is sinner when your impetuous town is full of lies. I don't
comprehend how having spoiled milk in your fridge is a sign. As said by Noel Hunter,PSY.D. in The Modern Day Witch-hunt, "Fear is a funny thing.When people are afriad, they need to a sense of control." So due to this statement
you are basically saying forgetful people are witches and need to died because of this. I
am sure all of the members of this town have forgotten something in there life time.
Does this mean you also needed to hang for this? Revenge is in god hands: not these
who are sinners themselves trying to find salvation .
