In the review of Blazing Saddles, Roger Ebert makes the following arguments:

"Meanwhile ... but what am I saying, meanwhile? Meanwhile, six dozen other things happen", although Roger Ebert might have a point, Blazing Saddle does this on purpose so the watcher isn't just focus on one problem but multiple in relents to the real world.

"it doesn't have a lot of classy polish and its structure is a total mess." This statement

is accurate however the structure is not a "total mess" the plot was there, it didn't

make scene sometime but i propose that was intentionally done to make the movie funny.

"The story line, which is pretty shaky" Yes it was. The shaky plot made it unpredictable. This is what made the movie a comedy and memorable. how many comedies do u know where every detail in the movie was planned? this takes the spontaneity and laughter out to the movie.

"It's a crazed grab-bag of a movie that does everything to keep us laughing except hit us over the head with a rubber chicken." this movie does all this and more
